2] Remove your Gamertag profile and re-add it

If your Gamertag profile is corrupted, you will need to remove, redownload, and then re-add your Gamertag profile to your gaming device. Below is how you can do this.

  • On your controller, press the Xbox button to open the guide.
  • Next, go to Profile & system > Settings > Account.
  • Select the Remove accounts option under the Account section.
  • Find and select the account you wish to remove.
  • Click Remove to confirm the action.
  • When finished, click Close.
