2] Try Windows Spotlight
If you want your desktop background to change on its own and that too with HD wallpapers, we recommend using the Windows Spotlight. This is a great work of Bing and is now available as an in-built tool on all Windows devices. Not only it pulls images from the Internet but it also tells you what the current image means and where it was taken.
This personalizing app is for those users who don’t want to change wallpapers willingly but want to see new landscapes, water bodies, and other beautiful images on their Desktop backgrounds. With Windows Spotlight running on your PC, you are indirectly touring the whole world. Try it once and we are sure, you will simply love it.
3] Set Slideshow as your default background wallpaper
The Slideshow works more or less similar to that of Windows Spotlight. However, with Slideshow, you already know which pictures would be coming next on your screen instead of getting a completely new sightscreen.
- Go to Settings > Personalization > Background, and select Slideshow using the drop-down menu next to “Personalize your background“.
- By default, this will auto-select the last known theme on your PC. If you want to change it to some downloaded images, put all the images in a folder first.
- Click the Browse button available next to “Choose a picture album for a slideshow“, and navigate to that particular folder.
- Select the folder, and you are done. The chosen images will act as your next theme and will auto-change your desktop background.
- Users may even opt for a time after which the wallpaper changes on its own. They also have the option to either shuffle the picture order or let the slideshow run even if you are on battery power.
