Why can’t I set a custom URL on YouTube?

It’s quite simple and easy to set or change a custom URL on YouTube. However, if you are not able to do so, this must be due to some lacking requirements.

YouTube allows only those users setting up their custom URLs who have exceeded the 100 subscribers benchmark. If you have not yet acquired this much of subscribers on your channel, wait for some more time, and keep working on your content. As soon as you exceed this mark, you will be able to set up a custom URL to your YouTube account.

Does changing your YouTube Name change your Google Name?

Google offers you both options i.e. option to keep your name intact on both YouTube and Google, or keep different names on both platforms. So, it’s up to you how you prefer to address yourself on either of these platforms.
