A new security update is now available for Windows 10 version 1607 under the name “KB5032197”. This is a regular Patch Tuesday update with one change in the DST timing of Syria.

Apart from updating your OS Build to 14393.6452, and improving the overall security, this security update brings the following changes to your PC –

Note: As per Microsoft, there are no known issues with this security update to Windows 10 version 1607.
Before you upgrade to this OS Build, make sure to download and install the latest SSU i.e. KB5032391 on your PC. You may get this standalone package by searching for it in the Microsoft Update Catalog. In case of an auto-update, you need not worry about it, as it happens automatically.
How to Get this update
If you have enabled auto-updates on your computer, the KB5032197 update will download and install on its own. You will receive a notification regarding updating your PC. Click on the Restart button and your computer upgrades to the latest OS Build update.
In case you didn’t find this patch update in Windows Update, you may visit Microsoft’s Update Catalog, and download the standalone package of the latest update. This file downloads as .msu file format which you may install by double-clicking on it.
