WhatsApp Beta Introduces High-Quality Videos Sharing

WhatsApp is improving video sharing with its latest update by including the feature of sending high-quality videos. As of now, you can already send HD photos, and soon you’ll have the option to choose between Standard and HD quality for videos too.

By default, WhatsApp videos are sent in Standard quality. However, with the new update, users can select HD for better video clarity. The HD videos will still be compressed, however, they’ll look much better than the standard ones.

To help users spot HD videos, WhatsApp will add a tag in the chat bubble. This will make it easier to identify and enjoy the higher-quality videos.

WhatsApp Beta now Supports Sending High Quality Videos

HD video sharing will only be available with WhatsApp contacts, not through status updates. WhatsApp is already testing this feature with select beta users on Android, and some iOS beta testers. This tech giant might eventually bring HD video sharing to other platforms like Windows, Mac, and the web.

With this update, WhatsApp aims to enhance the user experience by offering better video quality for sharing special moments. Beta testers may now share up to 100 images, eliminating the previous limit of 30 photos.

To access this new feature, you need to update your WhatsApp beta version to 2.23.14.10 for Android. Prepare yourself for better video quality and a more convenient way to share photos and videos on WhatsApp.

Recently, Meta, the parent company of Whatsapp, has announced supporting 32 persons calling support for Windows. And, now this premium feature in which you can send high-quality videos and images to your contacts. All these new developments suggest, Meta, is looking forward to making WhatsApp an even more usable app with lots of exciting features.
